Handyman vs contractor
A handyman usually has only one to three Journeymen or Apprentice where a Contractor will have a large crew. A Contractor will specialize in plumbing, electrical or carpentry or other trade. Where a Handyman will have a greater scope and skill set, handymen usually were contractors in times past.
Acquiring a broad range of knowledge and proficiency takes time…years, in deed decades.

Why Hire a Handyman?
To save money for one, if your toilet is running, a door needs adjusting, and you want to install a new dishwasher. You dont need to hire 3 different tradesmen or pay 3 different service calls. You can call the handyman for all those tasks and more.
Handymen are usually local, and a familiar face to you and your neighbors as you use him periodically through the year. Its similar to having a good mechanic or good chiropractor.

Absolutely YES! If we couldn’t then we would have a lot of material that we could not get paid on. When we recognize a bad fit, we respectfully decline the project and refer the homeowner to someone else in our network instead.

20 months as a Journeyman electrician. Ive done everything from hanging ceiling fans to 3 phase electrical motors. We follow the IBC and all local building codes.

Country Internet and Networking
People throw good money after bad on trying to get decent internet in the country; Me too. Over the years living in rural America. Ive learned a few good tricks.
- You need a dish or Yaggi or omni-directional antenna; an 80 ft tower (at the most); bidirectional amplifier; an indoor antenna; 75 ohm coax cable.
- USB tether router, so your cell phone can use unlimited data to bring the internet to all your devices including your TV and computer (Not as hot spot to use up hot spot data).
